Itanos (Aetolian: Ίτανος) is a municipality and the fifth-largest metropolitan area, by population, in Aetolia. It is located in the Central Aetolia region. To the northwest is the Lake Axos and the municipality of Greater Axos. In the east it is bordered by ?? and ??, in the south by ??, ??, ?? and ??, and the west by ??, ?? and ??.
