Songo ([Sọngọ] error: {{lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a planned city in the State of Sanyan in Ayorin. It is a highly urbanized area within the Greater Akurun Area. It was constructed starting in 1975 as an accessory city with the goal of relieving overcrowding and congestion in neighboring Akurun. At the 2016 census, the population was 522,512; while the metropolitan population was estimated to be 2,279,789, making it the seventh-most populous metropolitan area in Ayorin. Together with Runako to the south, it makes up a part of the Akurun megalopolis.
