Early life and education
In January 2003, Ivanishvili permanently left WHATEVER SHOW to host his own late-night talk show, Zazashi, on STV 1. Ivanishvili begins Zazashi with a comic opening monologue based upon current events and other topical issues. Every week, the show welcomes, on the same set, personalities from different spheres of interest: politics, sport, show, literature, journalism, religion, affairs, etc. They usually have taken part in news of the week, and although they are mostly Varkans, they sometimes are international guests. They get invited to discuss, freely express themselves and share their opinions on hot topics or on topics directly related to them. Sometimes it consists of interviews or games, sometimes only discussion, Ivanishvili pilots debates and conversations.
Zazashi has earned widespread praise. It has been nominated for more than ten Elene Awards.
