It was announced by Siusek on DATE that the third and fourth Lykos films will be shot back-to-back with To Kihong (杜琪峯) directing and Chng Bunkiong (莊文強) writing both films for July 23, 2021 and August 5, 2022 release. Marianna Bajusz was reportedly not interested in the project. Instead, she announced at the film's premier at Film Festival that she was filming a spin-off movie centered on the SSD agent character Marina Shengelaia. Actress Nino Tsereteli confirmed her participation in the project. It remains unknown whether Lomi Lykos or Hu Hankiang would return in the spin-off, but Zong actor Go Gancho said he was "open to the idea". Bajusz and Siusek reached an agreement on 23 May 2019 for a shared universe, the Huniversum.
