Nusaraya (Mataraman: ꦤꦸꦱꦫꦪ) or in official form State of Nusaraya (Mataraman: ꦤꦺꦒꦫꦏꦺꦱꦠꦸꦮꦤ꧀ꦤꦸꦱꦫꦪ, Negara Kesatuan Nusaraya) a sovereign state in North Fosia. With a total area of approximately 866,537 km² (334,571 sq mi). It is bordered to the south by Jogos and (BURMESE), to the east by Pasundan, to the north and west by Kendriyan Ocean. Nusaraya is the world's ??th-largest country. It is the ??th-most-populous country in the world, with around 252 million people. The capital city is Banjarnegara and largest city is Kertajati.
Nusaraya is a constitutional monarchy with parliamentary system. Nusaraya monarch has its origins from 13th century First Kingdom of Nusaraya which is descendant from the late Kingdom of Singaraja. In 16th century Kingdom of Nusaraya expanded its territory to Nusagede Region annexing the major Kingdom of Lasem. After brief period of civil war and chaos, Hartono Dynasty ruled over Nusaraya and start the era of Empire of Nusaraya in 19th century. After the end of Great Adonia War, Nusarayan empire dissolved and the original territory from 19th century become the modern day State of Nusaraya in 1948.
The Nusarayan economy is the world's ?? largest GDP and ?? largest in percapita. Nusarayan economy experienced rapid growth after Nusaraya War driven by its natural resources however its currently dominated by the sectors of commerce, high tech industry and services including tourism. Nusaraya is a great power and a major regional power within North Fosia, and has been characterized as a potential superpower.

Etymology
The name Nusaraya comes from the Mataraman language words of Nusa (ꦤꦸꦱ) which means islands or archipelago and Raya (ꦫꦪ) means greater. Nusaraya literally translated into Greater Archipelago which consist of the realm for Mataraman people from the island of Mataram and its surrounding including parts of mainland Fosia which settled by Mataraman people.
The name Nusaraya first adopted by the First Kingdom of Nusaraya which founded in 1295. According to the Kakawin Kertajaya written in Palm-leaf manuscript in the crumble of Kingdom of Singaraja, Prince Wijaya from late Singaraja last king Kertabumi III founded the kingdom which he envisioned to rule the realm of Mataraman islands area.

Middle Ages
Kingdom of Kamulan
Kingdom of Kamulan which according to the Watugiri transcription near Wonogiri believed as the earliest known state to be associated with the Mataraman people. Founded around 470 AD, Kamulan kingdom territory emerged to rule the western part of Mataram Island and part of the Nusagede Region (mainland Fosia which inhabited by Mataraman people). Kamulan kingdom fall around 989 AD which resulting the emerge of smaller states in its former territory.

Kingdom of Singaraja
Kingdom of Singaraja is one of the duchies emerged after the fall of Kamulan Kingdom in 10th century. By 1074, Singaraja kingdom under the rule of Wirahman II conquered the western part of Mataram island, known as the first state to dominate the former Kamulan Kingdom territory.
First Kingdom of Nusaraya
First Kingdom of Nusaraya accodring to Kakawin Kertajaya, founded in 1295 by Prince Wijaya from the crumble of Singaraja after the invasion of ?? (Mongols or something like that). First Kingdom of Nusaraya consist of the northern part of Mataraman Island with the capital in the modern day Slawi. At that point, the situation of Mataraman island similar to the pre-Singaraja kingdom situation where minor states and duchies lead by local lords. Prince Wijaya which become King Raharjo I create tributary of these minor states and try to integrate slowly into Nusaraya however the effort not really make a major movement until King Adiwijaya II rule in 15th century.
First Kingdom of Nusaraya managed to unify the fragment of former Singaraja territory on Mataraman island in 1447 under one state by King Adiwijaya II and later vassalize the neighboring Kingdom of Atambua peacefully without any major war. However Adiwijaya II unable to unify the Nusagede Region until his death in 1482 from an assassination by his former general.

Nusaraya is a Unitary state which national government has supreme privilege than any lower administrative divisions. Administrative division of Nusaraya consist of 4 level: National/State, Provinces, Municipal level and sub-municipal for several areas. National/State handled by central government from Banjarnegara. Below National level, there are provincial governments which consist total 29 provinces. Below provincial government, there are cities or town or village administration which definition depends of the situation of following area. third divisions are exclusively for Designated cities (excluding divisions of Kertajati, Banjarnegara, and Pekalongan) which basically division of following city into wards. the lowest divisions are the subdistricts which consist of local administration area.
Current provinces of Nusaraya defined since the first constitution of Nusaraya during Empire of Nusaraya era in 1821. Banjarnegara as a special Province formed in 1868 following the movement of capital from Kertajati. Later in 1948, the special metropolitan province of Kertajati formed out of Sidoarjo Province consisting of the old border of Kertajati City and several surrounding municipalities. Following in 1969, Pekalongan special metropolitan province also formed out from Selayar Province however, Pekalongan province didn't include the part of metropolitan area in Lumajang Province due to several issues. In 1957, the province of Ambeno Luar formed as a split from Ambeno Province. In 1978, Serayu Selatan Province split from the larger Serayu Province.

Government and Politics

Nusaraya is a constitutional monarchy where the power of the King/Queen is very limited. As a ceremonial figurehead, he/she is defined by the constitution as "the symbol of the state and of the unity of the people." Power is held chiefly by the Prime Minister of Nusaraya and other elected members of the Parliament, while sovereignty is vested in the Nusarayan people. Mangkubumi IX is the current King of Nusaraya who took throne since 1987.

Nusaraya's legislative organ is the Diet, a bicameral parliament. The Diet consists of a House of Representatives with 245 seats, elected by popular vote every five years or when dissolved, and a House of Councillors of 257 seats, whose popularly elected members serve five-year terms. There is universal suffrage for adults over 18 years of age, with a secret ballot for all elected offices. The Diet is currently dominated by the coalition consist of National Democratic Party (NDP), Nusaraya National Party (NNP) and Nusaraya Progressive Movement Party (NPMP). The NDP alongside coalition has enjoyed near continuous electoral success since 1948.
The Prime Minister of Nusaraya is the head of government and is appointed by the King after being designated by the Diet from among its members. The Prime Minister is the head of the Cabinet, and he appoints and dismisses the Ministers of State. By 2013 Election, Bambang Surpito from NDP coalition appointed to be Nusarayan Prime minister for next 5 years. Although the Prime Minister is formally appointed by the King, the Constitution of Nakama explicitly requires the King to appoint whoever is designated by the Diet. Prime minister of Nusaraya able to call in a snap election under certain circumstances to enable election before his/her term end.
Foreign Relations
According to 1948 constitution, Nusaraya foreign relation heavily focused on the diplomacy for economic development and interest for Nusaraya, upholding international law, promoting both human rights, and democracy.
Military
Nusaraya Military consist of two separate forces, Imperial Nusaraya Armed Force focused on the ground based and air based military and Imperial Nusaraya Navy focused in amphibious and naval based military which both governed under the Ministry of Defense. In 2018 Nusaraya spend approximately ₭TBD billions for its military budget.
Nusaraya navy considered to be among the largest navy in Adonia as well as its ground and air force. By 2018, Nusaraya has total 930,000 active duty and 1,270,000 in reserve for both navy and armed force combined making it the 6th nation with largest military personnel in Adonia. Military in Nusaraya currently voluntary. Conscription was abolished since 1948.
Demographics
According to 2015 national census, Nusaraya has a population of 252,839,221, making it as one of the most populous country in Fosia and Adonia in overall with the population density of 292 people per kilometer square. As of 2016, Nusaraya has a fertility rate of 2.9 with annual population growth of 1.29% for 2017. Nusarayan population live in various location around the country with most populous area in Mataram Island where 96 million people reside in the island making it as the most populous island (?) in Adonia where other area as the mainland Fosia region of Nusagede follows the second region with highest number of population. Nusaraya is a highly urbanized country where estimated around 76% of population reside in urban area while the remaining are sparsely distributed rural population.

Ethnicity
Nusarayan population dominated by Mataraman people where based on the 2015 census constituted 78% of its total population followed by Maringgaian people (10%) and Dilian people (4%), together with other 4% minorities natives and 4% non natives (Zong, Kemal, Paran and Illypnians) added up the rest 8% of the total population.
