Markos Belakneli Sulkhanishvili (Varkan: მარქოს ბელაქნელი სულხანიშვილი; born 3 May 1956) is a Varkan lawyer and politician. He was elected as a Member of the National Assembly in the 1999 election. He served as Minister of Justice from 2000 to 2004 before leaving political life and returning to his law practice. Belakneli has been involved in a number of high-profile legal cases. Belakneli has defended numerous high-profile clients in Varkana, including tobacco giant Domenti, Varkan Presidents Zurab Avalishvili and Giorgi Latso, and DUDE.
