Limonia (Template:Lang-li), officially the Limonian Republic (), is a federal republic of roughly 397 million people in Eastern Fosia. It is bordered by the Jade Sea to the north, Daras to the east, Shuchamia to the south, and Sunbon, Fenia and Shanjian to the west. The territory of Limonia covers 1,662,647 square kilometres. Limonia's terrain is moderately mountainous, with large plains towards the coast ; and its highest point is ???? metres. The majority of the population speak various local dialects of Limonian as their native language, and Limonian in its standard form is the country's official language. Other local spoken languages are Sunbongnese, Shanjianese, Hui and Pinghua.

Limonia is a presidential representative democracy comprising 13 provinces. The largest city and capital, with a population exceeding 18 million, is Auxin. Limonia is a moderately wealthy country, with a nominal per capita GDP of ₭22,994 (June 2016 est.). The country has developed a high standard of living and in 2016 was ranked ?th in the world for its Human Development Index. Limonia was a founding member of the Adonian Community in 1944, and is also a member of numerous other international institutions.

Etymology

Limonia is derived from the Aetolian λίμνες, limnes, meaning "lakes". In Limonian, the name of the country is 湖昌 (hhuchang), meaning prosperity from the lakes.
