Doria (Aetolian: Δωρία), officially the Republic of Doria (Aetolian: Δημοκρατία της Δωρίας, Dimokratía tis Dorías), is a sovereign state in Empodia. It is bordered to the north by Zarkos, to the south by Fira, to the west by COUNTRY and to the east by the North Neptic.
The Dinaric Empire conquered the region in the 16th century and established a viceroyalty that encompassed most of its Empodian colonies, with its capital in Agridaki. Doria formally proclaimed independence in YEAR, and following the military campaigns of DUDE, and the decisive battle of PLACE, Doria secured independence in YEAR.

Languages
The official language of Doria is Aetolian and the vast majority of Dorians speak it. Aetolian as spoken in Doria is known as Dorian Aetolian and is a form of Empodian Aetolian.
